My own game ideas: "AWOL" & Grand War Strategy Game

On this blog, I often repeat or elaborate upon others' developments in the 3D space, but today I would like to offer my own. For a few years I've had an idea for two videogames bouncing around in my head, and I'd like to put digits to keyboard now, to flesh them out.

The first game would be called "AWOL," and is an FPS set in a warzone. Through a set of yet undevised circumstances, the hero is mistaken for a deserter, and has to accomplish a set of tasks against the enemy in order to be welcomed back into the fold, all the while dodging (but not hurting) his former compatriots, who are out to get him.

The second game would be a grand strategy MMO game based on WWI. It would be a pay-to-play game (like the format now gaining popularity in China, where you buy credits on a card) and you can buy your way into the game either as a footsoldier in any army, which is basically FPS, or as a higher-level officer, where you can design strategy and order units on the ground to do your bidding. Surviving for long periods gains extra credits, which enable you to play longer and advance up the ranks.

Just ideas, but maybe I can flesh them out more ....
