The Industry Standard's new feature: Thunderdome

Last night, our developer/production crew rolled out a new feature on The Industry Standard. It's a horizontal content scrolling feature, which we call "Thunderdome" for short (a nickname that someone came up with in the early design meetings). It shows up on every page, including at the article level, so some of our special articles and predictions can get some extra visibility, even for people who come to our site via organic search, RSS, and external referrers -- in effect, helping our site realize the vision of "every page is the home page."
